A bit about this pedal model:
The Leqtique “MAR” is a medium-gain overdrive pedal that while not really designed to emulate “D-style” amps, it falls into the same sonic category, similar to the J. Rockett Dude pedal. These are hand-built in small quantities by a builder in Japan; and this model is now out of production. Compared to the “Dude” pedal, it is a bit less full-sounding, but has a nice, compressed tone that both cuts through a mix and is well-suited for more articulate, single-note playing. It also pairs well with boost pedals.
