Mesa DC-2 - ToneX Preset Bundle

A bit about this amp model:

The “Mesa-Boogie DC-2” is a 25w, 2xEL-84 tube combo amplifier, with two switchable channels.  The clean channel works particularly well as a pedal-platform.  Each channel (clean and overdrive) was captured at two different gain settings, providing four unique sounds in total.  In addition, this combo amplifier was captured direct (no speaker) and using a special microphone configuration placed both in front of and behind the open-back speaker cabinet.  This microphone configuration provides some extra dimensionality - almost an acoustic-like quality.  The direct captures were also built into another set of presets using a Fender Deluxe 65 speaker cabinet IR, which pairs exceptionally well with this amplifier. The overdrive presets have been enhanced with some slight delay from the built-in ToneX effects, which can of course, be bypassed if desired.  Lastly, we have introduced a new feature to our preset bundle, which takes advantage of the ToneX “Macro A/B” mode, allowing you to switch delay on or off (or any parameter) using a connected footswitch to the ext. control jack on the larger ToneX pedal.  More info on how that works here: https://www.tonexcellence.com/tonex-quick-tips/ (from our website “Quick Tips” page - topic #6).
