Mesa Boogie Triaxis - ToneX Preset Bundle

A bit about this preamp model:

The Mesa-Boogie Triaxis preamp is a very unique and versatile piece of gear. It is essentially an all-tube, 5-12AX7 preamp with 8 different Mesa preamp circuits built-in. The front panel features LED’s and leaf-switches that replace the traditional potentiometers (knobs) on a preamp (or amp); however, the digital versions of these controls do not digitize the signal. They only control the values of the corresponding analog components. So the signal path remains completely analog; while allowing a user to save and recall any knob settings AND amp modes as presets via MIDI or the front panel.

The eight modes found on the Triaxis and in this capture bundle are:

(1) Rhythm/Green – Vintage Fat Clean (Mark I, Black-face); (2) Rhythm/Yellow – Modern Bright-Clean (Mark IV); (3) Lead 1/Green – Vintage Mark I Lead; (4) Lead 1/Yellow – Mark 1 Lead – Gain Boost; (5) Lead 1/Red – Classic British Lead; (6) Lead 2/Green – Mid-Gain Mark IV Lead; (7) Lead 2/Yellow – Classic Mark II Lead; (8) Lead 2/Red – Searing Mark III Lead

Even though the Triaxis is not an amplifier, we found that including additional speaker cabinet IR presets provided some musically pleasing variations.
